2009 Crab Feast

The Mid-Atlantic Section of ASPB is holding its annual CRAB FEAST on Friday evening, September 25, 6 PM-10 PM, at ASPB Headquarters in Rockville, Maryland. In addition to hot crabs, there will be hamburgers and hot dogs, free-flowing beer, and dancing to live music by the band 'Natural Selection'. It will be a fun social event for all, including families.

When: Friday, Sept. 25, 2009. 6-10 pm (rain or shine)

Where: ASPB National Headquarters, 15501 Monona Dr., Rockville, MD 20855

What: Crabs, hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie-burgers, salads, beer, wine, soft drinks.

RSVP: Send your RSVP by email including your name and the total number coming. RSVP as soon as you know for sure, but definitely by Sept. 17.

Cost: $30 for non-members.
$25 for regular members of the mid-Atlantic section and their guests.
$20 for postdocs and guests.
$12 for students and guests.
$6 for children 6-12 and free for children under 6.

You can pay be cash or check when you arrive. Section membership is $5 and can be paid on entrance (or in advance).

Directions: From I-270
- take exit 6B (Montgomery Ave./MD 28 westbound) from I-270 towards Darnestown (0.7 miles)
- turn Rt. on Research Blvd. (0.7 miles)
- turn Rt. on Gude Dr. (1.7 miles, crossing I-270 and MD 355)
- turn Left on Crabbs Branch Way (0.2 miles)
- turn Right on Monona Dr. (0.1 miles)
Free parking is available on the street.
