ASPB Members Kay, Carrington, Schmitt Elected to NAS

ASPB members Steve Kay, James Carrington  and Johanna Schmitt have been elected to the National Academy of Sciences.  Kay is Dean and Richard C. Atkinson Chair, division of biological sciences at the University of California, San Diego, La Jolla.  Carrington is professor, department of botany and plant pathology, and director, center for genome research and biocomputing, Oregon State University, Corvallis.  Schmitt is Stephen T. Olney Professor of Natural History, department of ecology and evolutionary biology, Brown University, Providence, RI.
