Instructions To Reserve Housing:

• Review the hotel information below and then click on the link provided to make your reservation online.
• The hotels and/or the discounted rooms in the conference block may sell out before June 30, 2010. Upon sell-out or after this date, whichever comes first, rates and availability are at the discretion of the hotels. Please send in your reservation early!
• All room reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card at the time of booking.
• If you wish to have room charges shared among more than one credit card, this may be done upon check-in or check-out at the hotel.

Plant Biology 2010 will be held at the Palais des congrès (convention centre) in Montréal, Canada.  Plant Biology attendees will receive special discounted room rates at conference hotels.  Please note that discounted rates are available until June 30, 2010 or until the block is exhausted, whichever is first. Taxis from the airport to the downtown area and hotels cost approximately $38 CAD one way.  We suggest visiting the websites provided below for additional information and pictures of each facility.

Room rates do not include Municipal Occupancy Tax (3.5% per room/per night), Federal sales tax (5%), and Provincial sales tax (7.5%).  

Hyatt Regency Montréal (Headquarters Hotel)
The hotel offers direct underground access to the Palais des congrès (convention centre) and the Metro transport system. A complimentary shuttle service is available to the hotel from the Montréal Central Bus Station, which is 4 stops on the L’Aerobus from Trudeau International Airport ($13 CAD one way, $22.75 CAD round trip). The Hyatt Regency Montréal includes 605 stylish guest rooms, Hyatt Grand Beds, deluxe bath, in-room high speed internet access, a full-service business center, multilingual staff, on-site currency exchange, a 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool/sun deck, sauna/steam room, massage services/ Yoga Away, dining at Le Café Fleuri or in-room, care rental and parking facilities, and a convenient downtown location near many points of interest.

McGill University New Residence Hall
The New Residence Hall is within walking distance from the subway, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, art, and museums.  Amenities include a kitchenette on each floor, wireless internet, a billiard and tv lounge, cafeteria, public parking, and a shopping mall at the lower level.  Continental breakfast is included.  The New Residence Hall is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride from the Palais des congrès (convention centre).
